INSPIRED BY 1000 YEARS OF HISTORY.
A generation of Norwegian sailors once settled in the Faraoe Islands, and travelled by sea to influence the culture of Shetland by trade. This particular history has given inspiration to design a coat made out entirely of unique European materials. British Millerain waxed cotton outer embodies Italian recycled luxury thin down insulation through SERAC® DEM™ concept, with minimum cutlines. A 100% British sourced Shetland wool Is used as lining for natural insulation and a genuine feel. In combination with a forward looking Scandinavian design, the totality of this project conclude a modern classic look.
fit
As a lightweight alternative to the roughed T2, you’ll find the Field jacket fit slightly more relaxed with somewhat more body and sleeve volume - maintaining a fairly fitted silhouette. 60g Thindown insulation doesn’t add much thickness to the jacket, and you will easily fit a warm knit under at your preferred size. The articulated sleeves are slightly tapered and have generous length. Made for movement.

British Millerain® Graphite
From the worldwide known British Millerain comes a 170g waxed cotton with a stealth look - best describes as Graphite, or granite stone - some would say. The waxed properties makes the this water repellent, though its major selling point would be the comfort and wear, that only increases over time.

Mallalius Shetlands wool
Shetland wool is the harvested and treated wool grown by sheep of the same name, and is for most people known from the British Tweed. This tiny landrace creature has been bred within the distant, hardy Shetland Islands. In 2011, Shetland wool became the first inedible Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) goods from The United Kingdom. Breeders keep proud check of the local wool’s production and quality. To be granted the approval and stamp of wool merchants, Shetland wool must be soft, longish, very fine and wavy. Shetland wool is warm, strong, soft, durable and the finest any British sheep breed produces.

Thindown® Recycled
The innovative, revolutionary, natural and globally patented fabric reinventing the down market, entirely produced in Italy by NIPI (Natural Insulation Products Inc.). THINDOWN® is characterized by a uniform distribution of down that enables the absence of horizontal stitching sections and prevents the passage of cold and leakage of down. Thus, the world’s warmest fabric. All confirmed by leading independent laboratory testing. With SERAC, Thindown is this year introducing a sustainable version of the innovative fabric made with 100% postconsumer recycled down and recycled polyester scrim: THINDOWN® Recycled, further pushing the boundaries of research in insulation materials. The latest products’ update confirms the strong attention of NIPI (Natural Insulation Products Inc.) towards a sustainable development. THINDOWN® has received the RDS seal, Responsible Down Standard, guaranteeing the product is fully traceable and sustainable. It also received the STANDARD 100, Class I, by OEKO-TEX® certification, its highest classification, confirming the absolute quality and safety of the fabric.

Schoeller® Luxury nylon
Schoeller is best known in the automobile, aeronautic and sports-performance industry. Weave and fibers quality of a nylon fabric varies immensely in strength, performance and durability. Worldwide known for their material technology, Schoeller 100% Nylon, optimise the functionality of the THINDOWN Insulation. Not only 100% down-proof with low weight and an impressive breathability; this material takes the visuals to our preferred level, with a classy look, feel and shine.
